Comparison
3RD vs Profound: you just ask, and 3RD Agent does the work.
Both are AI visibility platforms for marketing teams. Profound gives you an AI Marketer, agents and workflows to build on, and a course to train your team as marketing engineers. 3RD is built so any marketer can do the work: open 3RD Agent, ask what to focus on to reach your goal, and it tells you what needs doing. Ask it to do it, and it does. Then repeat.
Built by former Googlers and veterans of brands and agencies.

3RD or Profound: the short answer
3RD (get3rd.com) and Profound are both AI visibility platforms for marketing teams. Choose Profound if you want your team to become marketing engineers and build agent workflows. Choose 3RD if you'd rather stay marketers: ask 3RD Agent what to focus on, and it does the work in your brand voice, in every market.
How it works with 3RD
Open 3RD Agent, ask, and it does the work. It doesn't get easier.
Open 3RD Agent
It knows your brand, your competitors, your markets, and the prompts in your goal.
Ask what to focus on
It tells you what needs doing to reach your goal, and why AI chooses your competitors today.
Ask it to do it
It does the work in your brand voice, from content to briefs and outreach. You check it and publish.
Repeat
3RD checks your plan daily against the latest AI answers, so the next question always starts from what moved.
3RD vs Profound
Which one fits you?
Choose Profound if…
You want your team to become marketing engineers and run its own agent workflows. Your in-house AI visibility specialists run the work and want maximum data depth. Your security review requires SAML single sign-on or a SOC 2 report today.
Choose 3RD if…
Your marketing team (brand, content, PR or comms) leads and wants the specialist's know-how built in, not a new skill set to learn. You sell in several markets and languages and need each one tracked separately. You want to start with one brand or market, prove it, then roll it out. Or automate it your way, with your own AI agent connected through MCP.

Questions buyers ask
3RD or Profound: what buyers ask
Which is better if your team doesn't want to become marketing engineers?
Profound gives marketers more to build with, and trains them to build it. 3RD has the specialist's know-how built in: it scores the five drivers AI uses to choose a brand, explains in plain language which ones hold you back, and turns that into a Playbook. Then you just ask 3RD Agent to do the work, and your team keeps the voice and the final say. And if your team wants to build its own agent workflows, connect them to 3RD through the MCP server or the API.
Which is better for brands in several markets and languages?
Each market is a country and a language. Denmark–Danish and Denmark–English are two markets, and one never hides behind the other. From the Pro plan, you can track any market you sell in, within your plan's prompts. On Profound, the trial covers one language and one region, and more are agreed in an Enterprise contract.
Which is easier to start with, and what does each cost?
3RD: start a 7-day free trial, set up your competitors, markets, and prompts, and see your first diagnosis on day one. Plans have published prices, from €99 a month (€84 billed annually). Start with one brand in one market, and add markets or move up a plan when it works. Profound: a free 7-day trial, then an Enterprise plan at a custom price agreed with its sales team.
Which covers ads and shopping?
Both cover ads in AI answers. Profound's Ads Studio builds and runs AI search campaigns, and its Shopping feature covers ChatGPT Shopping on Enterprise. 3RD shows who advertises beside the answers, and puts ad tasks in the same plan as content, technical, and outreach work, so one team sees every way it can be chosen. Product visibility in AI shopping answers is coming soon to 3RD.
How do you know if the work paid off?
Every day, 3RD checks each active Playbook against the latest AI answers for the prompts in your goal. You see what moved, next to the impact 3RD estimated before you started. The two are always shown separately. Profound also measures the impact of tasks, with a projected score impact per change.
Which is better for attribution?
Be skeptical of anyone who claims full attribution: most AI answers never produce a click. 3RD shows where AI gets its answers (your pages vs other sites, per model) and, on Growth and Enterprise, AI-referred traffic from GA4 next to your visibility. Pair that with a "How did you hear about us?" question for the full picture. Profound offers a Google Analytics integration for AI-referred traffic and conversions.
Proof
One marketer, zero to the top five in a quarter
Boë Beauté started at 0.0% AI visibility. One in-house marketer with no GEO or SEO specialist background followed the plan, and within a quarter the brand reached 22.2% visibility and the top five of seven competitors. Read the case →

FAQ
Moving from Profound
Can we bring our prompts over?
Yes. Export them from Profound, map them to our CSV template (prompt, country, language, topic, category, and tags), and import up to 10,000 prompts per file. Audiences aren't included in the import, so set those up afterward.
Do we need to retrain the team?
No. 3RD is built for marketers. 3RD Agent explains each task as you go, and technical tasks go to your SEO or web team.
Can we run both side by side before deciding?
Yes. The 7-day trial gives full access, so you can compare the diagnosis and the plan on your own brand.
Is 3RD ready for enterprise?
Enterprise brands run 3RD today. Enterprise plans include custom markets, up to 13 AI models, unlimited users, a 99.9% uptime SLA, and a dedicated CSM. Your data is stored in the EU, encrypted, and never used to train public AI models, and a GDPR DPA is included. Your team signs in with Google or Microsoft, with MFA; there is no SAML single sign-on yet.
