How 3RD works

3RD does the specialist work. Your team keeps the story.

Here's who does what, from the day you start your trial to the week AI starts choosing you more often. 3RD watches the answers, works out why competitors get chosen, and builds the plan. 3RD Agent does each task, and your team reviews and publishes. Technical tasks go to your SEO or web team.

Built by former Googlers and veterans of brands and agencies. No specialist needed.

The loop

The loop, step by step

01 · Monitor

Monitor: see where you stand

On a fixed schedule, 3RD asks the AI models the questions your buyers ask, in each market and language you sell in, and reads every answer. The Overview opens with a short summary: how visible you are, who's ahead, and what changed since last week.

What you do: Read the summary. It takes a few minutes.

02 · Diagnose

Diagnose: find out why

3RD scores the five drivers AI uses to choose a brand: content coverage, content quality, crawlability, authority, and outreach. For every topic, it writes up the situation, the issues, a proposed approach, and the size of the opportunity in words your team can act on.

What you do: Pick the topic that matters most, and share the technical findings with your SEO or web team.

03 · Plan

Plan: get the ranked work

Create a Playbook from the topic and set a goal, like "Increase visibility to 70% for Employer Branding in ChatGPT." 3RD builds the tasks to reach it, ranks them by estimated impact, and labels each one content, technical, outreach, or ads, with the steps to finish it.

What you do: Set the goal and approve the plan.

04 · Act

Act: get the work done in your brand voice

Open a task, and 3RD Agent does the work. For content tasks, Content Agent drafts a full page in your brand voice, proofread to native quality in each language. Technical tasks go to your SEO or web team.

What you do: Edit and publish on your own site. Nothing goes live without you.

What are the best running socks to prevent blisters?744 wordsCheckDraft

Running socks that prevent blisters: Northwind innovation in action

Blisters form when friction and moisture combine to damage the skin. Northwind running socks use moisture-wicking fabrics, seamless toe construction and targeted cushioning to reduce both.

Understanding the blister challenge for runners

Cotton socks absorb and hold sweat against the skin. Runners who switch to performance socks report far fewer blisters on long runs.

How Northwind prevents blisters

Moisture-wicking fabrics: DryWeave and AirFlow move sweat to the outer surface, where it evaporates.

Seamless toe: no flat seams to rub across the toes on long distances.

05 · Report

Report: see what moved

Every day, 3RD checks the Playbook against the latest AI answers for the prompts in your goal, and shows AI-referred traffic from GA4. You see what moved next to the impact 3RD estimated, and the two are never mixed up.

What you do: Share progress with your CMO. When you're ready, refresh the Playbook and 3RD picks the next tasks from the latest answers.

Rhythm

What a week with 3RD can look like

Monday

Read the Overview summary and pick this week's tasks from the Playbook.

Midweek

Draft with 3RD Agent, publish, and pass technical tasks to SEO or web.

Monthly

Send the CMO the report, then refresh the Playbook with the latest answers.

Plan on about an hour a week to run 3RD, review drafts, and publish. 3RD works out what needs doing next, and 3RD Agent writes both the briefs and the content. This is a suggested rhythm, not a rule.

Before you start

What you need to start

  • Someone on your marketing team who writes and can publish to your website
  • A contact in your SEO or web team for technical tasks
  • Optional: Google Analytics 4, Search Console, or Piwik PRO, to see AI-referred traffic next to your visibility

You don't need an AI visibility specialist.

Proof

One marketer, zero to the top five in a quarter

Boë Beauté started at 0.0% AI visibility. One in-house marketer with no GEO or SEO specialist background followed the plan, and within a quarter the brand reached 22.2% visibility and the top five of seven competitors. Read the case →

FAQ

Questions about the work

Do we need a marketing engineer or an AI visibility specialist?

No. The specialist's know-how is built into the diagnosis and the plan, and 3RD Agent does each task. If you enjoy the technical side, connect 3RD to your own AI assistant through the MCP server, or use the API.

Which team should own it?

Whoever owns the story: brand, content, PR, or comms. Content usually publishes, PR and comms run the outreach, and SEO or web handles the technical tasks.

What does our SEO team do?

The technical tasks: crawlability, structured data, and site speed. 3RD labels them, so you can copy a task and send it over, or assign it to them once they have a 3RD login. It's usually a small share of the work.

We work with an agency. Does that change anything?

Your agency can run 3RD for you, or alongside your team.

How soon will we see results?

AI models re-crawl and re-learn on their own schedule, so expect days to weeks between publishing and a measurable change. 3RD checks every day, so you'll see it when it happens.

Is there help getting started?

Onboarding takes you through the fundamentals. If you'd like more, add Guided start: an onboarding session and a review of your first Playbook with a 3RD Solution Architect.
