Quick answer · updated November 2, 2026
Azoma or 3RD: which fits your team?
Azoma suits consumer brands selling through Amazon and Walmart at SKU level. 3RD suits marketing teams finding out why AI picks competitors, market by market. Azoma, from London and Toronto, tracks retail shopping agents such as Alexa for Shopping and Walmart Sparky, enriches product data and publishes listings. 3RD (get3rd.com) scores five drivers per market, builds a Playbook toward your goal and drafts the fixes for your team to approve.
How 3RD works
Diagnose, plan, then draft, per market
Monitor
Ask AI models the questions your buyers ask, in every market and language you choose. Answers come through each provider's API; for ChatGPT, 3RD can also capture answers from the consumer app.
Diagnose
Score the five drivers AI uses to choose a brand (content coverage, content quality, agent readiness, authority and outreach) for every market.
Plan
Set a goal and get a Playbook: the ranked work to reach it, checked daily against the latest AI answers. Estimated impact is kept apart from measured change.
Act
3RD drafts the fixes in your brand voice; your team approves and publishes. Outreach comes as briefs for your PR team.
Decide
Which one fits you?
Choose Azoma if…
Most of your sales run through Amazon, Walmart or other retailers. You manage a large product catalogue and need the product data fixed across it. You want SKU-level visibility in retail shopping agents, tied to marketplace publishing and revenue.
Choose 3RD if…
Your buyers ask ChatGPT, Gemini, Google AI Overviews or Copilot about brands and services like yours, B2B or B2C. Your marketing team wants the reasons competitors get chosen and a ranked plan per market. You want drafts your team can approve, at a public price, starting this week.

Our data
What our data shows
Across 100 brands and 5.9 million citations (19 Sep to 18 Oct 2026), a median of 6.8% of the sources AI cited in a brand's category pointed to the brand's own domains (3RD, State of AI visibility Q4 2026). Azoma's whitepaper finds the same direction for shopping: brand.com was 3% of ChatGPT's shopping citations in Q2 2026, mainly CPG. The studies use different prompts, industries and definitions, so the numbers are not directly comparable. Of 117 tasks measured against a control group of the same brand's untouched prompts, 29% moved visibility up, 26% down and 44% showed no clear effect (3RD, State of AI visibility Q4 2026). That is why we show the control, not only the before and after. Azoma sits closer to sales data through its marketplace integrations and calls its own sales measurement "directional today". 3RD shows AI-referred traffic next to visibility but does not claim to trace AI answers to revenue.
From 3RD
Why we built it this way
“If your shelf is Amazon or Walmart, look at Azoma. Most marketing teams we talk to have a different problem: AI recommends a competitor, and nobody in the room can say why. That is the problem 3RD is built for.”
Be fair
Where Azoma is stronger
- Retail shopping agents. Azoma tracks Alexa for Shopping, Walmart Sparky, Instacart, Target's assistant and Lazada's. 3RD does not track retail agents.
- Product and catalogue work. Product data enrichment, listing copy and imagery, and publishing into Amazon, Walmart, Salsify and Shopify. 3RD does not edit product feeds or marketplace listings.
- Consumer goods proof. Azoma publicly lists large global CPG and retail brands as customers and publishes case results, including revenue measured against a control.
- Closer to sales data. SKU-level revenue views through marketplace integrations, and a published method for moving from control groups toward causal measurement.
- Product-level shopping visibility. It is the core of Azoma's product. 3RD's product tracking is in closed beta.
Where we win
Where 3RD is stronger
- Built for the whole marketing team: brand, content, PR and comms at B2B and B2C companies, including those that do not sell through retailers.
- The reason, not only the rank. Five drivers scored per market, with a plain-language write-up per topic.
- Markets handled one by one. Each country and language pair is its own market, with its own diagnosis.
- A plan with a goal. Playbooks rank the work toward a goal and keep estimated impact apart from measured change.
- Start this week, at a public price. Plans from €99/month, a public Enterprise floor and a 7-day free trial with no card.
- Your team stays in charge of what goes live. 3RD drafts the fixes in your brand voice; your team approves and publishes.
Proof
One marketer, zero to the top five in a quarter
Boë Beauté started at 0.0% AI visibility. One in-house marketer with no GEO or SEO specialist background followed the plan, and within a quarter the brand reached 22.2% visibility and the top five of seven competitors. Read the case →
FAQ
3RD or Azoma: what buyers ask
Is Azoma a GEO tool?
Azoma says no. It describes itself as agentic commerce optimisation, focused on revenue through AI shopping channels, and compares itself with what it calls horizontal GEO tools (GEO, or generative engine optimisation, is another name for AI visibility). For catalogue-heavy consumer brands that is a real distinction.
Azoma says other tools rely on panel data. Does 3RD?
No. 3RD sends the questions you choose to each AI model through the provider's API, in each market you track, and reads every answer. For ChatGPT, 3RD can also capture answers from the consumer app. Every score shows how many answers it is based on.
Does 3RD track Amazon or Walmart's shopping assistants?
No. 3RD tracks AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Google AI Overviews and Copilot. If retail shopping agents are your main channel, Azoma covers them.
Can I use both?
Yes. A consumer brand could use Azoma for its retail catalogue and 3RD for how AI assistants describe and recommend the brand across its markets.
Does either guarantee sales?
No. Azoma calls its sales measurement "directional today". 3RD measures what changes against a control and does not control what AI models answer.
